Crane Institute of America

Southeast Regional Rodeo

The Regional Rodeos were a new twist to the Rodeo held at ConEXPO in 2011. This time, Maximum Capacity Media, along with Crane Institute Certification, Liebherr, the Crosby Group, and Manitowoc, joined efforts and decided to have operators compete in their region before heading on to Nationals, October 27 in Davenport, Fla.

Saturday, October 13 was the final of the Regional Rodeos and it was held right here at Crane Institute Headquarters in Sanford, Fla. The rodeo kicked off with Millard Boden of Bryson Crane, as the first contestant. Boden held the first place spot all day until Mark Adcock of Crane Rental Corp. stepped up to the crane! After Adcock’s amazing skills behind the controls landed him in first place, the competition wasn’t over. James Anderson of Crane Rental Corp. showed the crowd everything he had and walked away the Southeast Regional Rodeo Winner!

Crane Institute Presents the Salvation Army with a $1,000.00 donation.

That’s not all…here at the Crane Institute we like to go above and beyond! We had food, music, games and, of course, football for all to enjoy. With the season of giving coming soon, Crane Institute got a head start and donated the proceeds from the rodeo entrance fees to the Salvation Army!

We would like to thank all of our sponsors, Florida Crane Owner’s Council (FCOC), Kelly Tractor and Equipment, the Crane Rental Corp. and Columbus McKinnon and all the contestants; you truly made this rodeo a big success!
