Requirements for Operator Qualification
- Complete the Crane Institute of America Small Crane Operator training program
- Meet ASME B30.5 phyiscal qualifications for crane operators
- Document at least one year experience as the designated operator of small cranes (A trainee qualification will be issued to applicants with less experience)
- Pass written exam
