This is an essential training program for personnel who inspect and operate industrial and/or rough-terrain forklifts. Students will learn OSHA and ANSI inspection requirements, how to properly document inspections, and safe operating procedures.

Requirements for Operator Certification
- Complete the Crane Institute of America Forklift Operator training program
- Possess the physical ability to safely operate a forklift
- Have a minimum of one year experience operating forklifts (A trainee certification is available for personnel who do not meet experience requirements)
- Pass a written examination
Requirements for Inspector Certification
- Complete the Crane Institute of America Forklift Inspector training program
- Possess the physical ability to perform inspections of forklifts
- Have a minimum of two years forklift experience working in operation, maintenance, repair, inspection, safety or supervision (A trainee certification is available for personnel who do not meet experience requirements)
- Pass a written examination
