Our flagship program provides everything that is required for companies to perform inspections on their cranes in-house and independent third-party inspectors, both needing to meet OSHA and ASME Inspector qualification requirements. The goal is to educate and prepare inspectors of mobile cranes on how to reduce the potential for accidents, liability exposure, and OSHA citations.

Requirements for Inspector Certification

  • Complete the Crane Institute of America Mobile Crane Inspector training program
  • Possess the physical ability to perform inspections on mobile cranes
  • Have a minimum of three years mobile crane experience in operation, maintenance, repair, inspection, safety or supervision (A trainee certification will be issued to applicants with less experience)
  • Pass a written examination
